This was really only a big swatch, I was using a small amount of left over yarn just to see if I liked the pattern. It couldn't have more than 150 yards and I got 4.5 pattern repeats. I have cast on for another one and I think I will make it 6 repeats. Since you are knitting from the point up, you can pretty much stop wherever you like or wherever you run out of yarn. The 150 yards made a very nice neck scarf that is 17" down the center to the point and approx 30 " wide.Bonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06741259673324850385noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29047444.post-21276931978636971492009-08-11T06:20:01.408-07:002009-08-11T06:20:01.408-07:00Any pointers on the knitting of the lovely shawl? ...Any pointers on the knitting of the lovely shawl? I have downloaded the pattern and have been trying to determine the weight and yardage used. Trying to find an online translator to change Finish(?) into English is evidently impossible. What did you use and how much yardage?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10320479482884046928noreply@blogger.com
